I’m sharing a single far more from my modern haul…only a person remaining! I’ll be sharing that 1 on Tuesday with my “Trash to Treasure” close friends then I can start off on this upcoming bunch of goodies I shared previously this week.

These days I’m sharing the lazy susan makeover.

I began out by eradicating the turntable on the base and then sanding the best.
I thought I experienced taken a image of that but I cannot see to locate one. ??
But I sanded it down to the bare wood thinking I’d adjust the color. Then I sanded the sides.
Effectively, that darn stain didn’t want to budge from the sides and I’d experienced ample! haha

So I switched gears and made the decision to just stain it back darkish. Very well, not as dark as it was but related.
I utilized 1 coat of the Cappuccino stain and permit it sit for a number of days.

I made this style and design to place on the lazy susan.

But for some motive, I was obtaining a bear of a time striving to get these little letters to slice effectively. It may well have been the font I utilised, who is familiar with.
So I switched gears once more! lol

I pulled out the vinyl lettering to build a stencil with the vinyl. Then I hooked up the transfer tape so I could transfer it to the lazy susan.

Once the vinyl stencil was transferred to the lazy susan, I eliminated the transfer tape.

I taped up the sides so as not to get paint on the wood when I rolled the stencil with paint.

I painted several coats, drying in concerning.

Then carefully eradicated the vinyl.

I used 2 coats of Matte Hard Coat (joined above) and once dry, reattached the lazy susan components to the base.

And done!
